Dutchess County offers a diverse, redundant high-speed communications infrastructure throughout the county, with a full range of broadband solutions to meet the needs of business and residents. A gigabyte Ethernet network is available to serve the needs of businesses, public and private colleges and school systems, and municipalities. Three incumbent telecommunications companies in the county provide DSL services to businesses and residents. Additionally frame relay, T1/T3 and OCx capacity are available throughout the county. High-speed cable modem, Voice over IP, FIOS, and point-to-point fiber services are available in many parts of the county. Wireless and satellite services are also available.
