In the largest construction project in the town of Poughkeepsie since the Poughkeepsie Galeria in 1986, Eastdale Village aims to create a live, work and play community center on the Route 44 corridor. The $90 million investment will bring 60+ acres of mixed-use property which includes more than 300 residential units upon completion, 120K square feet of retail property and 20 acres of parkland on the Wappingers Creek as a gift to the town. The project is expected to add significant construction jobs and up to 300 full and part-time permanent employment upon opening its retail, restaurant and office units.
Think Dutchess is excited to see the impact such a unique and vibrant project will have on attracting new businesses and talent to the area. The economic impact of such a project is sure to be formidable, and we are eager to add Eastdale to the list of great places to live, work and play for future residents and business owners.
