Ultimately, Facticiti presented a strong assessment of the current landscape and the way this unique algorithm could change the way employees and employers search for jobs and candidates. To Host The Innovation Challenge

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – April 10, 2017 – Th!nk Dutchess Alliance for Business announces The Innovation Challenge. An entrepreneurial competition for new and fledgling businesses in Dutchess County, this business accelerator and pitch competition sponsored by Th!nk Dutchess and its partners, supports the thought leadership and rapid economic development of the region. An array of prizes include cash, access to professional services, networking opportunities, an invitation to the Business Excellence Awards, and more to be announced.

The competition will feature two categories, Pre-Venture Start-Ups and Existing Business. Eligible applicants are Hudson Valley residents ages 18 and older with a pre-venture startup or existing business less than 3 months old. Applicants from any industry will be required to submit business plan summaries and an application on the Th!nk Dutchess website. Winners will present to a panel of highly respected local and regional judges September 14, 2017.

“Dutchess County thrives on the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit in the region. It is the mission of Th!nk Dutchess to empower businesses to develop and grow this talent,” stated Sarah Lee, CEO of Th!nk Dutchess. “Given our unique, ‘one-stop shop’ ability to provide a wealth of information that young and growing businesses need, we are thrilled to be able to host this event. This competition will help increase the awareness and opportunities for companies to engage individuals who offer unique perspectives and value propositions.”

Teams will be selected based on their business idea, skills, background, ability to execute and the likelihood that product or service will resonate within the market. Contest opens April 3, 2017. Application and business plan summaries must be submitted through the Th!nk Dutchess website by July 21, 2017 at 5pm. Official rules can be found at thinkdutchess.com
